Join us for a forum dedicated to a dialogue between Islam and Christianity. We will hear from a Christian pastor and a Muslim neurosurgeon, who will each discuss their faith and its relationship to a scientific worldview.

"Meditation" encompasses many different form of practice. This panel will allow attendees to learn about the great many varieties of meditative practice, across both Eastern and Western traditions. Come to learn from three experts in the field!

“Medicine & Spirituality: the Classic Indian Perspective”
Hanumat presaka Swami (Professor Huber Hutchin Robinson) was born in America. He is currently visiting professor with the "Institute for Oriental and Occidental Classical Studies" (IECOO), Richard Palma University, Lima Peru and General Secretary, NIOS (North American Institute for Oriental and Classical Studies), Tennessee, USA. He has repeatedly organized and presented at premier institutions with programs that have included Nobel Laureates such as Charles Townes, Sir John Eccles, the Dalai Lama and others. He was Chief Guest at the landmark "National Seminar on Sicence and Technology in Ancient India" organized by Calcutta University in 2001. Currently he is still engaged in traveling, lecturing, and consulting, but his emphasis has changed to writing in order to explain the intracacies of meditation and contemplation fromt he Bhagavata tradition necessary to the complete cultivation of the human spirit.
Hanumatpresaka Swami will deliver his lecture at the Institute during the lunch hour (noon-1pm).
Lunch will be provided at no charge, though donations will be appreciated. Gated parking at the Institute is free.
