"Rumi as a Spiritual Guide"
5:00 - 6:30pm
Amazing grace:
An aging historian—a cradle Episcopalian with a Jewish and Catholic grandfather and two Protestant grandmothers—finds in the “dark woods” of his soul spiritual nourishment from Rumi, a 13th century Turkish mystic and poet. Through a few readings, in which we see how Everyman romances and dances with the Transcendent One, the ordinary stuff of life comes alive across space and time.
