"Cultivating Peace in the Midst of a Hectic Healthcare Environment."

Find PDF Flyer for meeting by clicking here.

Venerable Master Miao Tsan, the founder and abbot of Vairocana Zen Monastery, possesses profound insight into the essence of Zen and has dedicated himself to its propagation and practice. He is the author of Just Use this Mind, The Origin is Pure, Intrinsic Awakened Nature, and Directly Actualize Buddhahood, which, in their original forms, are published in traditional Chinese. He has vowed to spread and promote this universal truth around the world, through the wisdom of Mind teaching and the interpretive vehicles of contemporary knowledge. His goal is to open a universal path of wisdom and light for all beings coming and going in the Ten Directions.

In this talk, Master Tsan will share ways that healthcare professionals can deal with stress in their daily work.  Attendees will learn techniques that we can use to manage the effects of stress encountered when dealing with patients and co-workers, instead of bringing those problems home to family and friends.  This should be a very practical session applicable to all involved in healthcare -- physicians, nurses, therapists, technicians, and hospital support staff.  All are welcome.
