Dr. Jeff Levin will present a noon address to the Texas Medical Center community at ISH's annual John E Feller's Lectureship to be held Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at Trevisio's Restaurant, 6th floor, 6550 Bertner Ave Houston, Texas 77030. All are invited to attend. Dr. Levin has been a leading authority in the area of spirituality and health and is the author of the best-selling book God, Faith and Health. His subject will be: “Judaism, Medicine, and Health: An Emerging Scholarly Field Comes of Age.”

Dr. Jeff Levin, an epidemiologist and religious scholar, holds a distinguished chair at Baylor University, where he is University Professor of Epidemiology and Population Health and Director of the Program on Religion and Population Health at the Institute for Studies of Religion. He also serves as Adjunct Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Duke University Medical Center and as Scientific Chair of the Kalsman Roundtable on Judaism and Health Research, located at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion.  He is the author of God, Faith, and Health: Exploring the Healing Connection (NY: John Wiley and Sons, 2001).
